2022 Program

Focused on the needs of nurses, technologists, and allied healthcare professionals, VIVA’s Nurses + Techs program offers a comprehensive series of presentations emphasizing a team-based approach to vascular care. This 2-day program will cover PAD, carotid artery stenosis, venous and thromboemolic disorder, and more.

Program attendees joined VIVA’s new World Insights session on November 2 to gain an international perspective on medical care and innovation through the COVID pandemic.

Attendees were also invited to enhance their experience by attending the VIVA general sessions including morning tracks, the Roundtable, Strategies on the Frontline, Master Workshops, and more.

This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This activity was approved for 7.75 contact hours.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of each day’s course, the targeted learners should be able to:

  • Describe anatomy/physiology and management of arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders
  • Discuss the role of nurses and techs in safely navigating the cath lab suite
